Copper & Kings American Craft Brandy

We're Copper & Kings, born in Louisville, Kentucky and unapologetically making Brandy in the middle of Bourbon country. With bold spirit, we raise a glass to innovation. Just because Brandy is America’s original spirit, it doesn’t have to act like it.

Music runs through our veins and our copper pot stills. With our Sonic Aging approach, we blast our stereos 24/7, infusing our spirits with flavor and a pulse. While our methods may be unorthodox, the results speak for themselves.

Let’s upend tradition together. We make Brandy for people looking for a damn good time and a damn good drink to go with it. People who value better more than familiar. People like you. Like us.

Brandy in Bourbon Country

This ain’t your granddad’s brandy. This is copper pot-distilled, sonic aged, sock-you-in-the mouth-delicious American-made brandy. We set out to break the rules and craft spirits that personify the rock-and-roll spirit of Butchertown. You might say it’s crazy to make brandy in the heart of bourbon country. We say you’ve never tasted anything quite like this.

Copper Pot Distillation

Our copper pot-stills were manufactured in Louisville, Kentucky by our Butchertown neighbors, Vendome Copper And Brass Works. Our brandies are batch-distilled exclusively in copper pot stills, are non-chill filtered with no added sugar, other flavors, synthetic chemicals, or caramel colorants for an uncorrupted, authentic, natural flavor, nose, and color.

We adopt a “low & slow” distillation philosophy – a relatively low distillation temperature for a longer, slower distillation with maximum copper contact to express fruit intensity, concentrated flavors, aromas, and a velvet finish.

    Sonic Maturation

Aged in Kentucky Bourbon Barrels. Matured with rock ‘n roll. The not-so-secret ingredient in our brandy is a nonstop stream of choice beats. We pump our cellar full of our favorite tunes 24/7 in a process known as sonic aging. This pulses the brandy as it ages in the barrel to produce rich notes, smooth tones, and robust, rollicking flavors.
